As we all hate to clean up messes and have dust pouring out of the TS, we have been using a shop vac with our TS. It works, but filter get clogged, fills quickly ect.
I'm looking for more of a dust collector type with a bag or separator even, and to possibly use with a foot activated petal to start both TS and collector.
There are 2 on Amazon I've been eying but wanted to see if there were any other ideas out there.
I suggested another CT or Bosch vac to use on it bit he didn't jump at that.

If your shop vac is enough suction for that application then consider a Dust Deputy. I've had good results with that combo

My experience is that shop vacs just can't move enough air to accommodate a table saw. I tried bag type dust collector with no success. I now have two 2HP cyclone units. They work exceptionally well.

I have the small Laguna two stage with 4" hose connecting to my tools.  Works great.

There are several remote controls available - some built into the dust collectors, others as an aftermarket add-on.

Can you tell us a bit more about other tools in your shop you may want to use with a dust collector or is it only a tablesaw.  And what model saw are you using?

I mentioned I had two 2-HP cyclone dust collectors. Each are triggered remotely using a small radio control fob.

It took a while to figure out that my neighbor's out door lighting system was on the same frequency as one of my two dust collectors. I'd come home in the evening to find my dust collector running, turn it off. And later, find out I was also turning off the neighbor's lighting. We eventually got it all straightened out on friendly terms.
