Dust Extractor Controls

I am looking at the CT 33E dust collector.  As I was going through the 2007 catalog from the U.S. site, I saw something interesting.  On the big picture of the CT 22E on page 130 of the catalog there is a third green knob--2 small, 1 large.  What is the top small knob for?  It appears to have a bunch of numbers on it.  I do not see this knob on the 33.

That's a feature found only on the Euro versions.  I can't recall exactly what it adjusts, but I'm sure someone will fill in the blanks shortly.  The only difference in the US versions of the CT22 and CT33 is the capacity of the bag.  Otherwise, they're functionally identical.
