Email notifications

Previously I always received e-mail notification when getting FOG personal message. This does not happen now. In my Message Preferences e-mail option is still selected. Is this just me or is this some site issue?

I know I received email notifications in the past too, but dont think I have received a PM for a couple of weeks now...

The email notifications of personal messages have been working for me including today.  I have noticed that there can be a considerable delay though.  I checked the settings and that feature is enabled.

Mystery solved. Notifications are in my spam folder. Yahoo thinks FOG notifications are spam! Blasphemy!

Check your spam folder.  Every now and then a pm notification email will end up in my spam box.

Yahoo has been notorious over the years for this.  Gmail was for a while but Shane managed to get that worked out.

Yeah, and I'm not sure that Gmail was ever 100% resolved because I think some people still had issues with them marking FOG notifications as spam.

FWIW, emails from the FOG are sometimes delayed for me by half an hour or more. Not consistently, but it happens.
