Trying to go all t-loc, but don't want to carry too many extra lbs.(kilos) of plastic.
Anybody have weight specs for comparison?
Cheers

To actually make them heavier than the original Sortainers, they'd need to be made out of some sort of super dense black hole material [eek] [blink]

Even if they are slightly heavier, the effective storage density is significantly higher due to the new design.

If you can cash out of your old Sortainers I think it's a no brainer!

Quick hint .. Amazon shows the shipping weight for most things, but it's not going to be 100% accurate and will generally be greater due to packaging, etc.

I think by volume the classic sortainers might be slightly heavier than the new t- loc sortainer. Personally I chose to buy both types within the last year. I made two almost identical stacks from the bottom a sort 6+sort 4+ sys4sort 3 + systainer 4 + sys 1 box. This gives me a good mix of storage configurations in a very compact space. I'm so pleased with this setup that I will get an additional similar stack when funds allow.

The new sys4 Sort 3 are nice but the drawers are too high to be an efficient use of  space when used alone.
