Ive been trying to talk Phil into taking a class with me  [big grin]

You need to talk Phil into having a similar program for customers in the UK.  [wink]

I did that when I first got here. They are so busy I dont think they (the trainers) and space for it.

Hes always either traveling back and forth to Germany or out training dealers etc

seriously I did ask him though

Yeah, I know. I was just teasing. I've talked with Phil about it. I think it's something they'd like to do, and plan to do in the future.

I know you were.

I havent pinged on him about this in a while.

Maybe its time, If Im not bugging him then he feels neglected :>D

I told my wife last night I would like to sign up for a couple of classes.  This afternoon, she emailed and called me to let me know she had booked us on a date night - a couple's cooking class.  I think I failed to communicate......

[big grin] [big grin] [big grin]

I missed this post before, but that just made me laugh out loud!

Turn around is fair play.  Book a couples class at Festool.  Won't be so hard to accumulate more tools after that class.

Peter,

No intent on high jacking this thread any further, but.....I think I came out ahead.  She told me her alternative to the cooking class was a wine drinking/painting a picture of a dog evening.  I think I came out ahead.  However, I will definitely book me some Festool classes, and perhaps excuse her from attending in lieu of allowing me some additional Festool purchases!  It all balances out in the end.......  :)

No matter what, once you go to a Festool class you will be enriched both thru the knowledge and the experiences and the interaction with fellow Festool users, and the knowledge gleaned will come back to you when you need it.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with that plan!

Mrs WOW has been bugging me to take her to Germany so she can visit family. I have been resisting, but 'for some reason' I have been more willing to consider it lately?

[scratch chin] [big grin] [wink]

Wayne, you gotta go to Berlin... Just been there a few weeks ago. Amazing how the city has changed just in the last 15 years and I still remember when the iron curtain was alive and well... Viel Spass dabei! Malte

I actually have a small piece of the wall from - I think - 1990? I was in Hanover for CeBit and a bunch of people jumped in cars and went over to view the wall. At that time there were large sections missing, and large sections still standing. But the border was open.

It was kind of surreal watching people standing on one side of the border while looking and pointing at the other. Kids were jumping 'across' the wall - actually the line where it used to be - in a kind of game.

It was very tough seeing the folks who had been on the 'wrong' side of the wall standing there, just kind of 'numb' about the whole thing. I can only imagine what it must have felt like to them knowing how badly they had been lied to and oppressed by their government, and how poor off they really were...

last time I was there we went up on a observation platform and you could see  east berlin man it was in pretty bad shape compared to the west.

I will ave to go and check it out, next trip is to Stuttgart

Yeah, the 15-16 October Cabinet Class in Henderson is full!

I am so excited about taking another class I can hardly wait.

See all of you when the time comes. If anyone wants to get together that Tuesday night, 14 October, just drop me a PM or e-mail. I'll provide my cell number and I will be staying at Sunset Station until dawn on Friday.
