Enduro-var and bathrroom vanity

I'm trying to firgure out if enduro-var is water resistant. I'm building a bathroom vanity and thought about using it over Watco stain (after letting it dry for about a week). It's fairly expensive so I didn't want to put it on, install the vanity, and have it fail due to the moisture in a bathroom environment.

Thanks -- finally found that After I posted. What about using Enduro-var over Watco?

The instructions on that page say to only apply over water based finishes.  I assume you're talking about Watco Danish Oil, which is oil based, so it appears that's a no-go.

You can seal the Watco off with dewaxed shellac (e.g. Sealcoat).  That's just a general way of separating the oil and water.  The waterbased products usually have no problem going over shellac, but check with General Finishes on that.  I know for some Target products you need to make sure to cut the Sealcoat in half and only apply one or two thin coats.  If you try to build with the Sealcoat you risk crackling the waterbased topcoat.  Again, this is for Target (specifically EM2000) so you have to check if EnduroVar plays nicely over shellac.

WATER SPILLS AND DAILY USE: Clean water spills up as they occur during regular use and protect from heat. Although General Finishes products are water resistant, they are not impervious to water. Surfaces will not be damaged by spilled water so long as it is cleaned up promptly. We recommend using coasters to protect your wood from standing water and pot holders to protect from heat.

This what they say about their product and water, the unfortunate part is this also applies to virtually every other finishing product out on the market if the truth be known. Smoke and mirrors as usual and they commit to nothing. If you don't let water stand on most finishes there is no issue, only when it's left on for 10 minutes or more.
