Was doing some site work this weekend, and forgot to bring my Milwaukee Fuel impact driver with me yesterday, and so I borrowed my friend's Dewalt XR.  After working with it for just a little while, my wrist hurt something awful.  I was able to test the difference today when I remembered to bring in my Milwaukee Fuel (1st generation, not the newest).  The difference is pretty remarkable.  The Milwaukee is certainly louder, but it didn't tax my wrist the way the Dewalt did.  Just thought I'd write up this note in case anyone is thinking of deciding between the two.

I actually find the Makita tools we use at work to be slightly more comfortable to use than my Milwaukee Fuel stuff, but that's about all I like about Makita.

I do like my 18v Milwaukee Fuel stuff.

I have the latest generation 18v impact and it's a joy to use, LOADS of power and comfortable. I love using it with torx/starred screws instead of pozi drive/philips. Sometimes using those screws with that impact makes screwing large screws so easy and effortless it's almost lie the wood is rotten because they go in with such ease.

My only complaint about the impact is the forward/reverse switch is not stiff enough and it can be too easy to nudge it out of position.
