European stuff

My wife is leaving on a trip to Amsterdam to visit her brother. I know there are differences in availability of things between Europe and N.A. I don't need any large tools, or power tools and pretty much have everything I need wrt festool power tools for now, but is there something available only in Europe  ( like centrotec stuff etc ) that I should have her get for me? I haven't been up on following availability recently so not aware of what's out there.  Thanks for any info to such a vague open ended question.  :)

How about the new and supposedly improved hose garage for the CT26 or 36 (204040) or one of the new smooth hoses (e.g. 500681)? Both lightweight and manageable size-wise. Just an idea.... ;)

How about aluminum cutting blades for your Kapex or track saw?  [cool]

Do you ever deal with aluminum? I make all sorts of stuff out of the material, it's like cutting a really dense wood except that it holds machined screw threads better.  [big grin]

Some 1" x 4 1/2" aluminum beams to support a wall that was opened up to remove a stairwell door.

Some aluminum brackets for closet rods.

Some more aluminum beams to support a knee wall that will house built-ins.

Some aluminum Dominos to join 2 pieces of walnut for a countertop. And the beat goes on.

That’s really cool. I’ve been thinking about working with metal recently but hadn’t really looked into it.
