Yah, but which is the closest match to the proper blue and proper green?  [big grin]
Looks like 49392517 to me but you should give an in-person judgement.

[member=20971]elfick[/member] All of them are the 49392517 model  [tongue] There are an additional 4 digits to specify color. I think the Navy/Green 4939-2517-8942 is the best match, but it does have a little bit of a purple hue to the blue. Some of my apparel when I worked at Festool USA was the same way.

Hello Shane -

2 Questions:

1) Is this a "Euro Fit" jacket? IE: a trimmer or slimmer type fit? Should we tend to order one size up?

2) Does it have a "Euro Zipper" on the left or "wrong" side of the jacket? (Don't know why, but I just can't get the hang of zipping these.............)

You mean the Wright side.. I have a couple of Carhartt jackets, with zippers on the Rwong side..
Endlessly looking for the puller that’s not there… [big grin]

[member=42863]SouthRider[/member] I don't have this specific jacket, but I have a similar Blaklader jacket. I wear a Large and I would say the fit is identical to any other size L that I own. The zipper is on the "European" side with the handle part on the wearer's left.

That reminded me of something I did as a kid back in the 1960's.  Getting ready for school, I put on one of my sister's blouses. I wore it all day not knowing it was a blouse.  That evening, I complained to my Mom that the buttons were backwards.  She explained to me that was because it was a girl's blouse, not a boy's shirt.

For those of us who have never seen the Blaklader gear, what makes it worth buying, other than the available color scheme?

Great question, [member=66966]jonnyrocket[/member]. The color was just a nice perk for Festool fans.

Blaklader is a premium apparel brand focused on the trades and made in Sweden since 1959. They are on par with, or exceed, brands like Carhartt, Snickers, etc. Their trades-focused workwear is produced with high demands on functionality, quality and design. They produce around one million apparel items per year. Blaklader is the only workwear manufacturer that offers a lifetime warranty on its seams.

Like I said, I have a Blaklader jacket and it's one of my favorites. I wear it a lot during this time of year. It's very well made, comfortable and durable. I've had my jacket for about 5 years now.

Queue cheesy video...

If you have any specific questions, let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

Got the jacket and LOVE it! The large is a bit big on me, but I'm guessing the medium wouldn't have allowed me to layer much below it.

Pleasantly surprised about the T shirt - not just cotton, but feels like it has some performance fabric mixed in.

Glad you were able to snag this deal, [member=42863]SouthRider[/member]. Like I said, my Blaklader jacket is one of my favorites, and I really mean that. Appreciate you sharing your quick review. Enjoy the new gear  [smile]
