It was brought up in another thread that the UG extension stops only reach about 94 1/2" at the maximum setting. Here are two ways to deal with that plus a third that can add lots more length  for stop settings.

1). Use a longer screw for the end stop and add a roughly 2" long tube over it for a spacer. Pushing the stop out another couple inches.

2). There is about 10" - 12" of sliding extension left inside the wing. Adding an additional hole for the knob about 2" closer to the end will allow it to slide out a bit more to get to 8'. The scale won't work but for batching eight footers it is  quick to measure and set. I wouldn't use it in that position for real heavy stuff or go any further out due to the possibility of loosing support strength.

Another possibility if working with long pieces on a regular basis is to gang UG Extensions sets together. The sliding extension in one can be overlapped into another and used as a connector. Sort of like a giant sized guide rail connector. Adding one to a side will get out near 12'.
