Just wanted to share my recent fantastic experience with Festool UK.

My CTL Midi stated working erratically round about the 2.8 year mark. I think the problem arose from an internally fractured cable near the body of the machine.

I contacted Festool and they arranged a FedEx pickup. 4 or 5 days later I got the machine back - fully working with a new cable. But not just that: they'd replaced the entire top of the unit with the new T-loc top (seemingly for no reason other than pure customer service), cleaned the entire hose, freshened the control panel and added a spanking new dust bag on the inside. Cost to me - zero.

That, gentlemen, is service!

This type of thing, the feeling of quality, the sheer pleasure in use and their admirable policy of local manufacture is what makes me a repeat Festool user.
 
Aaawwww!! I've just upgraded my midi with the t loc top could have got it done for nothing. Lol

It's a great upgrade nice to hear some good stuff about festool UK. They've had a bit of bashing lately here but I've had very good service from them over the years.
 
I ve had my dealings with festool UK.

I found that festool UK customer service was top notch.

They always treat me very good even though my stuff was bought in the states.
