I recenty bought some measuring stuff from Intelligent Workshop and part of the order was a fastcap flatbacked tape. I think this is an excellent tape for bench work. If you have not seen them take a look.

Some of the guys thought the same,  so I ordered four more - but I'd ordered the wrong ones. Tom soon sorted it out for me and resent me the right ones.
