Hello
just ordered a DRC 18/4 set and just noticed it doesn't come with the offset FastFix eccentric attachment
DD-ES i just assumed it would have.
I looked up the DD-ES 490294 on festool website and it say's for c & t drills.. it also is not listed on the accessories page for the PCD or DRC.
I REALLY wanted this offset chuck as it looks super handy, does it really not fit the PDC/DRC drills and is there an alternative if not?
*crosses fingers*

Cheers

No there isn't an alternative for the DRC/PDC series.
The FastFix only fits the C/T drills. It needs the metal ring as showed below.
Maybe you could use the Athlet bit holder showed below which I use myself

Thanks Neeleman
Man that's a bit of a bummer  [crying]
Why on earth haven't they brought one out for it? looks a great wee adapter.
I do have a DeWalt athlet style holder but it's pretty much useless and that's why i got rather excited over the DD-ES.
Germany please take note and make one, even if it's outsourced to china i don't care  [big grin]

Cheers

No because he TXS/CXS do not have the metal ring of the T/C models shown in my previous post.
Beside the TXS/CXS do have a smaller body and can almost reach a corner location without a special eccentric adapter.

The system!!! x3

The drills have different origins, so I can understand the evolution.
