Just in case anyone was already considering getting one of the oscillating tools.... TooNut has the Fein Multimaster 250 set on sale for $199, no tax and no shipping. I shopped around quite a bit and that's the cheapest by at least $80-100 that I found. This is the "older" model and not the new one that just came out (the 350, which is still about $350-400), hence the sale.

The usual disclaimer: I am not associated with ToolNut in any way other than satisfied customer.... Just passing along a good deal.

Amazon has the new model for $193 right now, I've seen it as low as $172.
Fein FMM 350Q START

Couple hundred $$'s in accessories makes a huge difference between the two kits, yet still the same price.

That's not a bad deal.... but I just didn't want to have to spend another $100 for blades and sanding pads, dust extraction, etc, you get a ton of accessories with the "top" kit... plus I don't use it commercially so I figured whatever reduction in noise and vibration the new one gives just wasn't worth the extra money to me.

You made a good choice!  The 250 is an excellent tool.. and at that price It's a no brainer!!

Thanks!... I've got about a hundred small projects going on around the house with several rooms in the middle of complete renovation so I'm sure it'll see plenty of use.

Don't you worry about it ;)

In other words... for a while.

I didn't realize how many extras it comes with... it's got about $200 worth of blades and sanding pads alone. Really nice set up.
