These are pretty rugged beasts and as long as it has the "quick change" feature and the "star washer" is in good shape the tool is probably pretty good. The Multimaster has come a long way since I bought my first single-speed unit as the "Feinschleifer" triangle sander in 1990 or 1991, but even then my view was that you could turn this thing on, go away for a month, return and it would still be running.
As to the value of the auction lot, I would get a complete list of the accessories and whether they are new or used and base much of my bid on that. Genuiine Fein accessories can be pricey and a box full of them can be worth more than the machine. Make sure the accessories have the star-shaped hole as I've seen these kits sold in the U.S. with a random collection of assembled older accessories with only the round hole, and these won't fit on this machine.
This appears to be the variable speed machine, which I consider mandatory. Also, if this model doesn't have built-in dust collection, consider quickly buying the dust port which is typically available at a discount on the same auction site.
