I have a Fein Turbo I and when I sand drywall with the planex, I get static electricity shocks. I was researching the Fein anti-static hose, which I think would solve my problem. But I also noticed that current Festool and Bosch dust extractors have a metal contact inside the vac chamber on the inlet port, which when you put the top on, connects to the ground of the unit, completing a path to earth ground.
I do not see any metal connector on the hose inlet that would connect to ground. How does the hose then connect to earth ground? At $200 amazon warehouse deal, the Fein was hard to pass up on years ago, but maybe this is one of those I should have researched some more situations.
Thanks!
