I know this isn't really the right place to post this question, but I've been unsuccessful at logging on to the hammerfelderowners.com site, so I thought I might try my luck here. Does anyone have some info or expertise on tuning up the jointer/planer, other than the users manual, which really doesn't offer any real detail. I own the AD731, which for the last 14 years has been a great piece of equipment, but recently it's been giving me some problems, and I'm trying to get the thing back in tune. Felder has been absolutely no help - I can't even get them to return my call. I would love to pick someones brain a bit if I could.
Thanks - Jack

I'm setting up the Hammer A3 31 (same company) and just received tune-up literature from Felder/Hammer customer support.  Three of the attached files are related to planer feed roller heights/tensions.  I, like others, have experienced wood sticking in the planer.  However, in my case this was easily solved by waxing the table by rubbing waxed paper (the kind used in the kitchen) on the table, so no adjustments were necessary.  The fourth file, the Hammer setup manual, contains unpackaging and set-up info. for the Hammer K3 (sliding table saw) as well as the J/P.  You'll have to sort a bit for the J/P info., but it includes basic tests and tolerances.  Hope this helps.
