Festo Penguin's.

That's some really cool stuff!

As far as I know, Festo is another part of ToolTechnic, Festool's parent company.

That has got to be some of the most amazing things I have seen.  How do people come up with this stuff?!  They must have nothing else better to do.  ;)  I wonder what all this is going to lead to.

My son and I just watched the videos together.  He wants to know,

"What would happen if you put the penguins in the pool with the jellyfish?"

Regards,

John

One word:

Skynet.

[scared]

Here's one that is going into full production for industrial automation applications (full disclosure, I work for Festo US). Most of the Bio-mechanical R&D never makes it into the practical field of use. But the knowledge base developed is used in many of the Festo products that get used in production lines throughout the world. Really cool stuff that I get to play with everyday  [cool]

Festo - BionicTripod

Festo's sister company is also really cool too [big grin]

Any truth to the rumor that the new Festool router will have Jellyfish drive and bionic bit changer?  [unsure]

Will it chop dovetails?
Hey, how many Festo engineers does it take to change three lightbulbs?
