Festo RO 1

Since yesterday, I'm the proud owner of a Festo RO 1. Inexcellent condition (minus the sanding pad, will go to my dealer to get one next week)
For those who don't know the machine, It is the oldest (first models 1982) of the Rotex machines.
For those who do know the machine, what can you tell me about it, it has only an On/off switch, but it seems you can change the sanding mode by turning part of the rotating mechanism. does anyone have a manual for it?
I will try to post images later (when I 'm home for more than just 3 hours of sleep)

Philippe, sounds very cool.  Please post up some pictures of the unit, otherwise it didn't happen.  I would love to see the ergonomics on this machine and hear how it works.  Do you have a current incarnation Rotex?  If so, let us know how well this old unit performs compared to it's young brethren.

I did not yet found time to visit my festool dealer, so due to the missing sanding pad still no hands on experience.

Until then, maybe I can keep your interest up with some photo's (if I succeed in my first photo post)
