Hello
do you have news in the United States if the 18v range at festool will grow?
it still lacks a tool in 18v such as nailers, sds max punches, saber saws, vacuum cleaners ...
when compared with makita dewalt bosch or milwaukee the festool range is ridiculously small.

I am satisfied with my festool tools in 18v
but sometimes I think if I made the right choice

There has been no indication that they will expand to those tool categories.  At best, they may bring back an impact driver.  Most people here add additional battery systems as needed if another brand offers a tool they need.  Even across the other major brands it’s hard to stick to just one brand.  It simply depends

Hi!

Quite a couple of people, including me, would be all over new/more tools from Festool.  [big grin]

There are tools "I can see" because they "fit" Festool, their core competency and customer base, like a cordless nailer. Then there are tools "I can't see" because they don't really "fit" Festool, their core competency and customer base, like a cordless SDS-Max type rotary hammer. Especially since people who need this type of tool primarily, also need other tools that are not likely to be found within Festool's range of tools.

As much as I would love to see it, because I love Festool!!!!  [scared] [eek] [blink] [scared]  [big grin] [big grin] [big grin] I doubt they will become a full-line/ full-range supplier for power tools.

Of course, my guesses are as good as anyone else's.

And if the next Festool Instagram Story shows a SDS-Max type rotary hammer, I will officially have to surrender my crystal ball back to the fortune teller's association as I have lost all ability to see then. ;)

Kind regards,
Oliver

why festool bought protool if it is to stay in the wood sector?
in renovation a saber saw or a sds max perforator are useful
maybe they do not have the production capacity yet
it is a pity to leave on a system which in the end is no longer a system when one wants to extend its field of application

Festool is close lipped on their development and expansion plans. Anything and everything written about possible expansion and future tools in the cordless platform unless coming from Festool directly will be unofficial and possibly speculative.

I do agree that there opportunities out there to be be approached but agree with previous posters that a complete lineup is hard to imagine.

Ok thanks
I had a half of an answer
from festool france at a trade show
