Sadly I lost a screw to an angle bracket in the MFS-400 kit.
These screws and locking nut glide on and off the aluminum extrusions easily.

I just called Festool and wouldn't you know, I can't buy just the screw and nut.
I have to buy the angle bracket KIT with two stops, four screws, and two nuts.
Cost with shipping $46

They used to sell part 466353 that had a nut and a couple screws.  Not Anymore.

This is outrageous. I'd pay $15 for just the screw and nut.  I would not be happy, but I'd pay.
But $36.21 plus tax and shipping?????

Is it the same part as 466910 (minus the screw that looks like you'd be able to pick up from somewhere else)?

Thanks Gary  !!!!
That looks like the part.  $5.59
The screw is 228692 5mm x 12mm $0.85

Which begs the question,  Why didn't service know this?

Luke

That looks like a standard t nut with a ball spring.

80/20 has a bunch of those.

Here is the link to the ebay store:

The pdfs attached are their catalog pages that give the dimensions. Grab your calipers and measure what you have and pick the closet one. Then search by the part number on their ebay store.

I'm not being helpful...but if I could replace MY lost screw for less than $50.  I'd be way ahead on the therapy costs!! [tongue]

Rob - yours is loose not missing.  Use a wrench and save the money.  [poke]

You Are Amazing!!
How in the world did you find those, or even know what they are?

I purchased six for $12 including shipping.  Should anyone care the part number is 13083, they cost $1.20 each, and take an M4 fastener.

You made my day!

Luke

I'm still made at Festool.... [mad]
