Festool 491594 vs Bessey GTR16S6H Quick Ratcheting Clamp

Are there any differences between the Festool 491594 and Bessey GTR16S6H Quick Ratcheting Clamps other than color and price that I should be aware of? I'm thinking of picking up some of these and since I have all Bessey clamps otherwise and the GTR16S6Hs are a little cheaper I was thinking of going with those. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I was missing.

Nevermind, think this video answered my question.



Good thing too since I found the Besseys on eBay brand new for $32 a piece! Grabbed four of em! Wanted to pick up a few more of this style clamp as I recently got the Parf Guide System Mark 2 and its time to start making some worktops with holes in them!

Have a look here at the JUUMA clamps  (there is a thread somewhere on the forum about them). If I remember well these are prey good and have a nice price (E 28). There on my list

I have two of the Festool that I got 10 years ago.  $42 dollars each, did I pay that much?  Even adjusted for inflation I don't remember them being that high.  Was there ever a package deal or a special that I might have gotten in on?  BOGOF?

I’m pretty sure Bessey make the Festool clamps, and also make the Axminster tools version too.
I have a few of the Festool, a few of the Bessey and a few of the Axminster versions. I have no preference as they all seem to perform and function the same.

Can only speak about Festool vs. Bessey, apart from the pricing difference I like the latter more because the release lever isn't that keen on biting into your fingers (you can see the difference in the video).
