I figure not everyone knows this and it's solid info for other deal seekers.  I love festool sandpaper, hate the price.  If you feel the same keep an eye out for festool paper in the amazon warehouse deals. I picked up 120 Rubin for the 150 for $24, 60 for $23, and 40 for 20.  The only thing wrong with them is the boxes were crushed. I counted the packs, none were missing just a damaged box.

I do this full time and have the added overhead of a building and power bill so any dime I can save and still get to use nice paper I take!  I check once a week or so and usually catch atleast one deal this way.  Hopefully someone else in my boat can save too!

I bought a fine TS55 blade from Warehouse Deals for $46.  It said "opened," but there was no sign of any use.

Warehouse deals can be good for FT sandpaper.  I've bought many times, and always the quantity has been checked and nothing other than the box being damaged is awry.  Planex sandpaper is an especially good buy.

As for other things, it's hit or miss.  Many times the item has simply been returned unused, so the package is damaged but the item is basically new inside.  Other times, important parts or accessories are missing, and this wasn't caught by their inspection of the returned item.  Of course, it's an easy return when that happens, but still can be annoying.

Of course if you live in a state with high sales tax, the Warehouse discount usually isn't worth it.

I will say I did buy a makita angle grinder from the warehouse deals and it popped the second I turned it on.  I called amazon the guy said throw it away and I'll send you a brand new one. Which was sweet. Luckily I had bought it because I had another just go out, the makita factory is 20 miles away so when I took my one in for repair I just took both. Now I have 3!  I use them really hard though so they usually only last a year.

I've tried to purchase Plugit cords twice on Amazon warehouse - trying to buy the heavier gauge cord.  Both times I received open boxes of the lighter gauge cord and immediately shipped them back.

you can use camelcamelcamel.com to check and track the pricing of item sold through Amazon. I've saved a few bucks on Makita 'Systainer' boxes.

Great thanks to dboardman for his alert.  I may have hit the jackpot.

A couple weeks ago my search in Warehouse Deals on "Festool" turned up two OF 1010 routers among the 75 or so hits.  One had little information about the tool's condition but stated the router would be repackaged.  The other had some details about minor cosmetic defects, which turned out to be untrue, and said it would be shipped in original packaging.  Both were listed at $351 and change and $24 sales tax, with free Prime shipping.  I ordered the second one.

UPS delivered a brand new OF 1010 in a brand new Sys 3 container, lacking only a Plug it cord and a warranty card.  A couple calls to customer service got the plug it cord delivered from their normal stock.

Checking Amazon's Warehouse Deals for Festool products is now a daily routine...

YMMV. Caveat emptor.

Best - Gary

I just bought a Centrotec countersink drill set by Snappy from Amazon Warehouse.  The item was described as used,  When I opened it, three of the bits had stuff caked in the drill flutes and they were absolutely dull.  Back they went.  At least Amazon has one of the best return policies going, so I'll probably still check for deals.
