Festool at the Woodstock Wood Show

Just a quick note to members in southern Ontario, there is a Festool Display booth at the Woodstock Wood Show. The booth is manned by the Festool Area rep John. He giving demos and there always seemed to be a large crowd when he started demos. There was no mention here or in there literature that Festool was even going to have a booth. Also of note, Felder has a small display of there Hammer machines and a 540 Bandsaw. Makita has there new vac on display.

How silly that Festool wasn't on the list of exhibitors.  If I had known, *maybe* I would have travelled the ~2-h to the show. 

I guess it's stupid to ask if there were any deals on the Festool stuff, but what about deals on other things ?

No Festools for sale, just demos and a display. No deals that screamed out with other vendors except Felder if your in the market for there equipment. Also found out that the Toronto Woodworking show is in November this year not March.

They've amalgamated a few shows under the one publishers umbrella who now owns the Canadian Home Workshop magazine, which it was run by in the past.
