Hello,

First post and directly to the problems section :).
I have Festool BHC hammer-drill. It stopped working. I opened it and gearbox seems ok.
The problem is with the shaft of the brushless motor is stuck, cannot rotate, cannot move.
From the pictures you can see the fan - it was in contact with the housing of the hammer-drill for some reason.
Any ideas about the reason and how to fix it will be much appreciated.
When I put battery and push the button it just return strange sound like beep and nothing happens. Brushless motor is expensive and is I cannot fix it not sure changing it make sense.

Welcome to the FOG.
I have no direct knowledge of how to fix your problem, but have you checked to see if there are any failed bearings?
It's possible the rotor has moved in the housing and is now stuck against the magnets of the motor.
There are wear marks on the fan that look like the rotor has moved.

I changed the gearbox on my Makita cordless drill.  The gearbox provided one of the bearings for the motor, so if the motor wasn't installed in the drill it didn't turn.

Thanks, Bob.
I tried checking the bearings but they rotate pretty smoothly.
That's why decided to ask here, as I'm out of any ideas :(.
Not sure if the rotor moved or the plastic "fan" stuck somehow.
If somebody can send me picture from motor that is working well to compare will be great. Cannot find in internet somebody fixing any issues with this hammer drill.
That's why I took a lot of pictures and will share it just for reference to any hobbyist that struggle with such hammer drill.

Yes, checked this one as well. But image especially on the motor cannot understand if the fan somehow is not at the right place.
