I was in axminster tools today looking at the pdc as it says impact drillAnd the drc does not say impact  alas it is not an impact driver just a percussion drill basicaly a smaller version of my bhc sds drill but  the festool rep said that festool could be bringing out an 18 v impact driver early next hear just wondering if anyone else has heard anything

The rep says "could be bringing out". There is no information at this point.

Since the TI 15 Impact is discontinued last year a lot of people are waiting for a proper Impact drill: TI 18.
There are a lot of good examples on the market yet like: Makita, Hilti, Fein or Milwaukee.
No frills like drilling just a 18 V Impact drill. Please Festool you can do it!

I have the millwaulkee fuel 18 v impact which is a real beast dont think it can be beaten but i want a festool so all my drivers are the same make and quality plus a red and black box looks out of place next to grey and green lol please festool bring out a real beast of an impact please please please

It's such an obvious hole in the range now that it has to be filled. Whether we see a dedicated tool or another hybrid (hope they learnt on this wth the Ti15) we'll see.

Now that the majority of Festools customers have gon to a skin or kit at no penalty pricing model I think a well priced 18V dedicated Festool Impact driver will be welcomed and fly out the door in the skin plus systainer format!!

Lets hope so i think they will sell shed loads but it will have to be the nuts to beat millwaulkee as impact go i think there the best

It was a tank, I had a chance to buy one in Protool guise, but it had 2.6Ah batteries and was "old stock". I felt sure it was going to reappear in green. I was wrong [sad]
