Festool Conturo ABS edgebanding

I'm planning on edging some laminated Egger boards. Egger supply ABS edgings unglued.

What thickness is recommended as easiest to apply with the Conturo?

The available thicknesses are 0.4mm, 0.8mm, 2.0mm.

I read somewhere on FOG that anything less than 0.5mm is problematic.

Ive run 1 and 2mm. Both work fine. 2mm sometimes is harder to get started in the feed roller,but not that bad

1mm is more easy to work with, in applying and finishing.
