Hi Everyone!
I just picked up a CS70EB for 30 bucks. the only problem is that the previous boss did not want anybody to be able to use it anymore.
to he "destroyed some stuff" he cut the power cable, removed the motor connections and removed the brushings.
I already looked up al the part that i need.
The only information i can not find is the speed control unit, and the thermal protection unit of this version.
On the CS70 E there is no speed control. so the wiring is more simple.
But i have no idea where the hall sensor goes to and if there is a extra electrical panel missing from my unit.

Hopefully some of you guys can send me a photo of the underside of your CS70Eb and eventually a photo where you adjust the speed.

Kind regards!!

BTW awesome forum!

Have you checked Festool's Ekat spare parts catalogue? It has exploded view drawings of the saw. You can find it on the Festool website of your country in the service section.

yes i have, i have all the parts that i need, but it would be nice to see where the elektronics are mounted and how it looks on the inside. Otherwise i will likely make my own elektronics box. it cost 117 bucks... To make the total repair it would cost me 221 bucks.

Green knob is speed control.

I know its maybe a bit to much to ask, but could you make a picture from the inside of the electronics?

Regards
