Festool CXS Battery Replacement - Discontinued Model

Greetings again, battery mavens! Any advice, tales, etc., appreciated.
This time it's my old Festool CXS drill; batteries just limping along now.

The new shape batteries will fit on your CXS.  It will change the balance and feel a little bit, but they'll still work:

The new ones work fine, but they do not fit in the original Sustainer.

The newer battery will give you almost double the run time. Also note that it's significantly wider so the drill is more stable when standing and doesn't want to fall over as with the original batteries.
