Didn't want to steal a thread, so I started my own. Here's some background:

I have a bunch of decking and drywall (more drywall than deckling by far) to do. I want the 2500 rpm model since it is better suited to my needs with lower speed but higher torque. Since I mostly work by myself, the idea that I could put a panel up to the ceiling and quickly secure it is worth a lot to me. I've done it without an automatic gun and it's no fun.

I realize that this is NAINA but I have a buddy in the UK who could get it for me. I may be looking for a voucher, btw, in case you have one lying round that is a spare?

Anyway, here are the questions:

1. What chucks are compatible with the DWC 18-2500? I see from watching a youtube video (that I couldn't understand) that the centrotec one will work, but what about the right angle or the eccentric?

2. Is the TCL-3 charger universal voltage? I have a plug adaptor or I can just replace the cord if I don't care about warranty. Or, come to think of it, if someone in the UK wants a deal on a charger perhaps I'll have my buddy pull it before he ships it to me and I'll just pick one up locally. (Or maybe it will be an excuse to buy another tool that includes charger? Decisions, decisions...)

3. Anything else I should know if you own one of these? Is there a reason I wouldn't want to use it as a regular, all-around drill? I don't own any other Festool cordless items, but I own tons (technically a Metric buttload) of Milwaukee M12 stuff. I have plenty of drills and impacts to use otherwise...but the addiction is strong!

I don't think that's correct - here's a couple of screengrabs from a video, which shows that the front end is completely different to any of the other drills:

And the full video:

If you watch the video you'll see that the 'chuck' in the background isn't the depth stop chuck that's been available for a while - it's basically just a 'sleeve' that fits over the driver bit.

No, sorry - the charger is labelled on the bottom as being 220-240V.

That's not what it's designed for (and probably why they didn't design it to take the standard chucks). You could use it for driving other screws, but I wouldn't want to use it to drill holes.

I agree with Johnny 100% I asked the same question to my dealer before I bought my quad drive and the collated guns are not suitable as a regular drill.
I mentioned that there's a guy selling various items on their own on ebay here. Might be an option if you buy a regular 18v over thaere.

Screwguns have an internal chuck that only engages when you put pressure on them so it makes them pretty much useless for anything other than with a depth stop. Also the more torque the more you hVe to push on them so the chuck doesn't slip

Ok I just watched the ITS tv review of the duradrive and noticed something missing, the noise!  Normally I can tell if hangers are in a house from as soon as I pull up and get out just from the sound of the clutches grinding away but the duradrive had no such noise. Does it have an electronic clutch like the other festool drills? If so that's a pretty huge deal. I'm curious as to how it works if that's the case as it couldn't be a torque sensing clutch, and how does it work with the regular depth stop.

OK, so is there an auto-screw attachment available for the T-18 anywhere in the world? I can't let go of this idea just yet!

There are two types.
Not Auto-screw as you call it, but only screw depth adjustment.
The first is called DD-DC (493539) and the second is called DC UNI FF (769126) and is probably not yet AINA.
