Having bitten the bug of Festool after purchasing a DF 500, I am ready to purchase a TS 55 REQ and in a few months a OF 1400, I found this community on the way to making that expesive decision. Spending time here I ran across threads mentioning how users used the TS LS with their Festool products, I was wondering if it would be possible to use the Inca postioner to move the rail to a needed distance for precise cutting operations. I saw older threads about the same topic but unfortunately it seems that the photos of member projects adressing this issue have dispeared. I plan on using the track saw to break down large amounts of sheet goods for a large kitchen cabinet project and thought the repeatability of the TS LS could be useful. If anyone has any experince with this matter any comments would be greatly appreciated.

You bet we'll keep you in mind. In due course that subject will also show up in our TSO INSIDER Newsletter.

The largest conceptual issue I see is how to adjust the rail height for different material thickness, while keeping it square to the Incra Fence. I think if TSO could develop such a product it would allow a tracksaw to much better compete against the more dangerous tool of the tablesaw. I also plan on ordering one of your rail square soon as well since I have heard such good things about them.

Yes please.  If TSO can figure out an elegant way to do this it would huge!

Help me understand just how you want to use the Incra Positioner in conjunction with the Festool Guide Rail.

When I first got my TS55 and MFT, I tried setups using the Incra Positioner, but soon found it rather cumbersome and moved on to other options. While I haven't read every thread here that discusses the Incra Positioner, I believe that most, if not all, use the Positioner to locate the edge of the workpiece relative to the 'fixed' location of the Guide Rail. Did I miss something? I just don't see how using the Positioner to locate the Guide Rail will work well. Yet, if you have an idea that will work out, attaching the Positioner to the Guide Rail should be a rather simple task.
