The versions of the Ts saws and the smaller routers with a B in the name only exist in the 220V versions, so simply switching the cord won't help.
If you search the forums with the words "TS" and "brake" will give a few threads on the subject, it had to do with the fact that the 110V versions need thicker gauge wire, and there isn't enough space in the handle near the trigger to accomodate the necessary electronics for the brake feature.
