There may be no warranty, it may be missing parts, or it may be damaged, so do your homework if you're thinking of buying it.
NOTE: It has been my experience that if it comes in and you aren't satisfied with it, Amazon will offer a further 20% off the price to entice you to keep it. In this case that would be almost $300 MORE off the price, which will buy quite a few parts or go a long ways towards easing any 'angst' over an appearance issue...
