Hi, I recently purchased a used PDC off someone it is pretty dirty, but I got it for a pretty good price so I went ahead with the purchase.

I went to clean it today and I opened it up and I can't tell if what was coming out of the gear changer is factory grease or just built up dirt as it has a bit of metallic look to it and from watching AvE videos I recall it looking similar to some of the grease used in motors that he brakes down. I've attached a few pics, if it is factory grease should it be in the gear box like the pictures show?

Can't see it so well but it looks like the Molybdenum disulphide grease I have.

I do think it's grease I'm just not sure if the grease us supposed to be in that gear box which I taken off and if so then why was it leaking out through the gear speed dial.
