Ok so looking to polish my van yes the ro 90 has a small head will take all day
But bit confused with mod?

Rotex or random orbital going to be using a foam pad and cutting/polishing cream?

Don't want burn the paint

Keep hearing this dual action polishing when looking into polishing cars

Cheers

Use the 80mm polishing/backing pad if you have the smaller than 90 mm foam pads from Festool or other supplier.
Use a moderate pad, not a coarse pad( coarse is usually yellow) unless you have fairly bad defects in your paint .
Use a mild abrasive polish , much better to creep up in abrasive level if needed rather than scratch your paint needlessly.
Change pads if switching Polishes/grits,  and finally use a more flexible foam pad for applying a Wax . Honeycomb pattern pads do nicely with waxing .
I use microfiber towels/clothes to remove polishes and waxes off of the paint.
