Festool ro 150 feq losing power

Machine looses power suddenly, recently they changed brushes and some kind of small magnet that comes inside. It works for a little bit and then it losses power and it doesn't get hot. Plug it cord is damaged and only the upper part is original. What could be the problem?
And i don't have a verified repair shop in my country.

First thing I would look at is the Plug-It cord. These break all the time and it looks like you've had your share already. Try a new cord.

Replace the receptor for the plug it cord on the sander.  It’s cheap and easy.  That’s the only problem I’ve encountered with the RO 150.  If there is black residue on the receptor that’s an indicator.  Then replace the plug it cord.

They called my from repair shop ( I don't trust them), they said the rotor ( not sure it's called the same in English) went off?
What is the possibility of that?

Electric rotors often fail. If it doesn't fix the issue then worry about trust. Use a credit card to pay so you can back charge it. Otherwise let them fix the tool and put it back to use.

You could ask them to send you the old parts back with the tool to you. (Good way to verify auto repairs too whether you know what you are looking at or not.)

These are the pictures or rotor and receptor. Does it look bad?
Tried turning it on without back plastic and rotor sparks a bit? Guessing that's not normal

The black part of the commutator/rotor should be level with the copper part when new (Although it may be in that form from the factory). It is well worn and shouldn't be fully black. Some discoloration is normal though. Brushes were probably shot for a long time. Only way to know if it failed otherwise is to ohm it out.

Sparks from the brush are normal.

This would be a more normal wear pattern.

We replaced the brushes one week before this started happening.
The new rotor would cost me 220 euros, but to repair this one 65 euros.
