Festool Rotex 150 Sander

After a few minutes use, my Rotex 150 sander exhaust very hot air at the handle making it difficult to hold.  Is this normal operation for the sander?  Last year's model.  Purchased 2 weeks ago with limited use.

Sounds like the brushes are breaking in, the exhaust I'm not sure about.

Yes, this is normal, in the beginning it can run very hot, this wil get better. I remember my own RO150 getting very hot in the beginning, though it never got so hot I had trouble holding it.
