Festool Rotex RO 150 Sanding To A Polish

Question for all of you? what waxes do you use and how do you apply them? do you have any videos of the waxing process?

Thank you
Austin
The Alaskan Woodworker

Nice work Austin.  I have used store bought wax and melted wax mixed with tung oil with good results on black walnut and mahogany.  On a hard wood like your working on I finished a corporate conference table of Indonesian Rosewood with wax but, after a month of use I had to take it back and strip the wax because of executive hand prints.  After striping the wax ( a very nasty process) I applied varnish mixed with mineral spirits in a 3/1 mix heavy on the spirits.  I used soft cloth and buffed the mix on till dry a small patch at a time overlapping as I went.  The result had all of the beauty of wax but the durability of a spray on finish.  I spoke with the company owner last summer and he is still thrilled with that table 30 years later.

I certainly apologize. but can you explain, for what I have to pay twice as much than the Makita bo 6040?
