I went to great expense and labor to fly to Germany and go to Festool's factory and buy the Festool CMS router table insert which is currently listed on Ebay.
I am just curious about how many people in the United States would be interested in such a product if Festool offered it in the states.
My husband has stopped buying from Festool at all because of all of the products not offered in the U.S. because he feels he can't purchase
everything he needs from the line.
What do you think?

I would. I am considering having a friend bring one back for me but I keep hearing the end of the year we will have it in the states

This is the third year that I've owned Festool products, and this is the third year that I've heard "it will be available in the US soon".

I heard it for 3 years and then I went and got it and now it's supposed to be here in another 2 years.
I called Festool USA in Goleta and I talked to David and he tells me that compared to what Festool used to have,
they have more tools now, but compared to the rest of the world we don't have access to half of the Festool
catalogue.

Why can't we dream up a line of cool tools and build them right here in the good ol' US of A?  We've got almost as many Germans as Germany has if that's what it takes.  If we designed them and built them here maybe we would get first crack at them.

But you'd still have UL to deal with. [doh] [oops]

Hi Joe,
It weighs 25 lbs. The shipping is the same with USPS or UPS......I'm all the way on the other side of the country.
