I was told by leevalley that festool has discontinued their safety glasses. I managed to get the last pair they had at the store but I would like to get my hands on some replacement clear lenses, does anybody know where I might find some?
I got a pair with the video contest care package and promptly shredded the lenses (drywall dust and glasses don't go well) but I really like them, I've tried several others but always found them to mess with my vision somehow, the festools seem much clearer and no fogging.

I think Bob Marino still has some.

I wish I did. Festool has discontinued selling these glasses. Perhaps there are some dealers who have a some left in stock.

For what it's worth, Festool has new safety glasses here in Germany. They are made by UVEX and do not have interchangeable lenses (or at least they don't come with the tinted spares) They are clear.  Still have adjustable fit, and look really good.  Come with a UVEX pouch, not the zippered FESTOOL labeled one as previous. The glasses have Festool's logo and colors though.

I have ten I'm bringing back to the USA tomorrow.  There doesn't seem to be a limit on the number that can be ordered.

Cheers,

Frank

Must not need UL approval, but you might want to check the fine print to see if you can wear them in Sacramento. [dead horse]

I'll have to look at one of the enclosed "instructions" with the glasses and see if there's a Proposition 65 warning! [eek]

We're so starting to look like the EU!! [scared]

I use a standard UVEX Pheos pair  - The green is a close match to the Festool Green but the rest is black..... but from a distance who could tell
I have some Festool pairs as well but find these a better fit on my nose and well i want to keep the Festool ones looking new.

Available here for around $10

I have a bunch of safety glasses that I used to use when playing squash. They get scratched fairly quickly during games (not sure why but I also broke a lot of racquets McEnroe-style!) and become unusable but they get a second life in the workshop.

Festool's new Uvex glasses are different from what you posted. I'll get pictures online as soon as I get back to Florida tomorrow or the next day.

Want to sell any of what you brought back? I'll buy a pair if so.
