Festool Stein with Lid

So I ask you do you see something wrong with the top of my Festool Stein or is this the way it should be, my wife bought this for me and well I have to ask is it me

So the point of filling the stein...with fluid is to..... lock it away  [bite tongue]???

Pencils yes...keep them in...but.... What about the Festool drinking game...when watching TOH and ATOH... you  have to drink every time you see Festool green and if you see the Festool name...you have to chug...  If you fantasize about Festool on TOH and ATOH I don't even want to think about what happens......  [eek]

All I know is TOH and ATOH is on Wed night and Saturday...the crew is shot on Thursday and Sunday... [doh]

I have one of those as well.
I noticed that the top is easily bent where the cap is attaches to the hinge arm. It's just not a great execution of the design. You can bend it back so it sits flat on the top of the stein but it does weaken the attachment.

You are welcome.
You could get a new one, but the same thing will happen.
I really like this stein, but I wish they made it as good as their tools.
