Just curious as to how many people try to stuff the 2200 router back into the systainer after a longs day work.  I finally got it but I had to take my 10lb sledge hammer and beat on the top a bit.  The half a cup of oil before hand helped out.  Good job Festool.

I don't have a 2200, so I don't understand the experience? Why does it not fit back in?
Everything I have fits beautifully back into the Systainer. The MFK700 fits with either base, no problem. All of them have been fine for me. The only annoying thing is the rotating chip deflector cup on the OF1010. It will not go back in the box with that installed. In fairness, it won't with the OF1400 either, but it is a far easier task to remove that one.
Oh and the screws for the rings in the base plate of the OF1010. The main one and the chip deflector one both use Torx screws but the metal ones for the guide bushings have slotted heads? You can't just swap the screws because the ones for the guide bushings have pan head screws so they can be centered. They could use the same driver though.....come on
