Nothing announced by FUSA at this time. No ETA.

Generally speaking, new tools show up in the US market about 6-12 months after European launch.

Yes, the TPC is identical to the TDC with the exception of the Hammer function. TPC is the percussion(hammer) model, TDC is the one without.

I am curious about any updates as well. You can see the TPC in the digital catalogue on Festool USA's website, but otherwise it is mainly just crickets so far.

Thanks. But I'm curious why price difference is negligible between the two. Why would any one get TDC over TPC? 
My only guess is maybe TPC has higher torque (not sure about this at all) so it's too much for some users? Or TPC doesn't have function to turn off Hammer drill mode? (Most unlikely) Other than that, it's no brainer to chip in few more dollars for TPC.
