Did anyone here enter the "I love festool because ......." Competition ??

I got a card through the post last year and entered in fact I've had a few competitions from them. They never seem to post any winners names or info on the UK website just wondered if anyone knows anything.

I contacted my colleagues in the UK about this. Here's a statement they provided and they indicated that they will be contacting all participants and posting more details on their website soon.

Festool UK have just announced the winner of the competition to be Graham Stacey, from Doncaster. The winning entry was "I love Festool because I demand quality and reliability from my tools – the same as my customers demand from me."

Oh well good luck to the winner choosing £2000 worth of festool.

I can tell you that it's so hard to sift through thousands of entries and choose the best one. We got a lot of applications from people wanting to be selected as a Domino XL test user and it was difficult selecting a dozen. I'm sure some people felt like they should have been selected and weren't. 

That's why I prefer random drawings. Random drawings give everyone an equal opportunity and it's less likely that someone will feel slighted.
