Festool Users in the LA-Long Beach US

Hi All:

I am retired and relatively new to woodworking.  My first Festool purchases were the saw, worktable, router and jigsaw.  If anyone in my area is interested in getting together for shared projects or in sharing your expertise then please feel free to contact me.

My immediate interests are marquetry projects and perhaps shelving, drawers etc. for a closet re-fit.

Welcome to the FOG.  We have quite a few SO Cal members.  They might not have checked the forum since your post.  I wouldn't be surprised to see more responses.

I was in Fullerton up until Aug. I suggest go to Austin Hardware and Hardwood in Santa Ana.Look for Drew big bald guy works the counter.He is a festool guru.

He uses them professionally and is the expert there.

Once you get to know him he'll talk festool all day/inbetween customers. tell hi Ron said Hi.

Also check out woodcraft of Orange County. I think they moved to Fountain Valley.

The owner Euki (owner) and some of the employees there are festool fans too. He has festool demo days I used to go and chat with the rep and he would demo for me  and
answer all my questions. Used to be Allan Kensley thats right the one ad only.

So get to know these guys and they will get you tuned in
