Just thought I'd pass along this info for anyone in the Delaware region of the country.  Woodcraft in New Castle, Delaware is having their annual woodworking show on January 15 and 16.  On January 16 there will be a workshop devoted to Festool Domino joinery for cabinets and furniture.  If you need it, their phone number is 302-323-0400.  This is northern Delaware just over the bridge right off Interstate 95 on Route 13.  They're having a 10% off sale and specials on most items with the usual brand exclusions like Festool.  The workshops are $30 in advance, reservations required and you get a $30 gift certificate upon completion.  There are also free demos going on throughout the weekend.

I sent a PM to Shane to verify whether it would be their rep Jordan Haire.

Nice, Jordan's a good man.

Yes, he is, but aren't you partial to Mitch?   [big grin]

Like em' all, but Mitch is not my Manager, though he helped me out at the Saratoga, NY show a few years back when he first joined on.

Ok, slight change from the flyer so here's the low down on Jan. 15 and 16 weekend event at Woodcraft in New Castle, Delaware.  The store is running the whole show.  Their Festool rep, Jordan Haire will be there on Saturday between 10am - 2pm.  He's got a lot going on so he's giving as much time as his schedule allows.  There most likely will not be an official Festool workshop.  Festool demos will be all weekend long on the main retail floor.  A local woodworker, Mark Prickett, will probably be there giving a demonstration of the Domino for use in cabinet and furniture construction.  Jordan tells me he has production methods that anyone looking to save time won't want to miss.  There will be a lot of Freud classes going on which require pre-registration.  Check out the Woodcraft  Delware store's website for detailed class info.

Jordan is calling me on Monday to finalize his plans for the show, so if there are any changes, I'll post the new info.  Mike Okner, store manager says, "They'll be a hot dog machine, so that's worth coming down for."  I'll be there, not just for the show but I have Festool goodies ordered I have to pick up.  Maybe I'll see ya.

I just noticed on the Woodcraft store's site that they'll be doing the famous hot dog test on one of their Saw Stop table saws at 12:30pm Sat. and Sun.  Anyone who's been dying to see it in person, here's your opportunity.

This is a week late, but I still wanted to post a thank you to everyone from the Woodcraft in New Castle, Delaware and Downingtown, Pennsylvania sister store for a great show.  Also thank you to Jordan Haire from Festool for his work and help on Saturday.  I've posted a couple of pics of the Saw Stop demo that manager Mike Okner did.  First one is of Mike just about to make the pass into the blade and the second is a close up of the nick in the dog.  The hot dog suffered only minor mental trauma, no bleeding and was given a BUNd-Aid prior to some mustard and being consumed.
