Despite some mixed reviews by members here, I went ahead and bought the 16T Panther blade for my new TS75. I mill quite a lot of oak and other hardwoods, usually 2''-3'' in thickness so wanted something that would rip big boards without putting too much strain on the machine.
I have to say that I have been very pleased with the cut. This oak threshold is 55mm thick and rebates to fit against the edge of the floorboards where I took out a wall to fit a set of French doors. The saw sailed through the wood without any effort and left no feathering on the cut at all. I've got a fireplace surround to make out of 3'' stock next week so we'll see how it copes at maximum depth.
The ROtex 150 made very short work of the finishing, I have to say that every time I use it it impresses me more!
