Thanks to the input here, I decided to go with the OF 1400 and am very happy with it.

Of course, I had to have a TS 55, RO 150, CT 33, and MFT 1080 to go with it! ;D

What's next???

Welcome, and good list of first purchases!  But those tools look too clean.  Dirty them up a bit.

What's next...are you sure you really want to know?
How about a Domino?  You have to get a 150/5 or a 150/3.  Perhaps a Trion?  The RAS 115 is good for a lot of things.

Uhhhh...can I get that in a package deal? :o

Of course the tools were clean...a few minutes before that picture, they looked like this.

They've seen some use now, though.  I'll post more about my first project later.

Subscription to Festoolies Anonymous?  There's no cure - I have so many of their tools I've lost count and I'm ordering the Kapex on Monday.

I think Festool should adopt a "The first one's free" policy...like any good drug dealer.

Congratulations. After some trucks arrive next week, I'll have pretty much the same setup but with a CT-22. I just spent a couple hours today using the RO150 on my wife's grandma's table that we've been tripping over for five years since it needed a good refinishing. Don't have a Deltex (yet), so I'll have to hand sand the routed edge, but the amount of work (and precise work at that) done by that sander is amazing.

After using it for awhile, the first thing on my Birthday List is the http://www.festoolusa.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=456736&ID=6 Compact Cleaning Set. It's just too darned convenient to have that dust extractor right there next to the mess and not use it to clean it up! (Although the suction part of the RO150 will work in a pinch.)

Jason,

It's hard to argue with your statement "I think Festool should adopt a "The first one's free" policy...like any good drug dealer."

The price Festool USA is selling the Compact Cleaning kit makes it the best bang for the buck in the catalog.  It will make a great addition to the vacuum.  I'd suggest adding a Suction Brush 440 404 to the kit, and it "just" fits to allow the lid to close....

Hmmm, I thought the Cleaning Set for Workshop was a great addition for those looking to upgrade to the D36.  This floor nozzle is top notch!  If it weren't for this package deal, I probably would not have ordered this nozzle -- that would have been a shame!  Nice!  Well, actually, nice doesn't even start...
