Working on the following project at the moment with not too much left to complete so I thought I'd post a few pics I took yesterday

very nice.  Is that three base moldings?

Yes bill skirting and architrave are all three part the windows were lined and architrave fitted  also with a three part
I'll take a pic on Monday of that detail

Was in Ireland in 2005, stayed at a lot of B&B's, but none had this type of work.  Is this a home or office?

You do beautiful work.  I just like the simple lines!

That's a really substantial base. It looks like it extends into the room by about an inch and a half? I mean, by about 36-40mm?

I don't think I've ever seen a detail like that over here. It's a lot of wood, so I suspect it would only happen on a high-end home. Maybe I just need to get out more. Anyway -
