Just a quick note about these... They are not self-cleaning like the CT MINI/MIDI/26/36/48 bags. The reason -- because it's the position of the filter / air inlet and the shape of the canister that make the newer CT models capable of the self-cleaning functionality.

Edit: The addition of these bags is intended for those of you who use your CT 22/33 with materials that may be more prone to tearing a paper bag. Essentially, they are more durable.

Do the new bags filter any better than the 5 micron paper version ?

As long as they hold up better then the carry out store paper sacks, that I have been using. [big grin]

Honestly, I don't have that specification so we'll have to check with Germany. I think it's safe to assume that filtration levels will be at least on par with the paper bags.
